Expertise Database
Sometimes a need for training cannot be met by pre-planned events and courses.
“Experts” are registered along with their areas of expertise. As needs arise throughout the workforce the Expertise Database can be searched to locate an ideal mentor or session leader.
For example, a group of social workers identify a need for training relating to Looked After Children. A course isn’t available that meets the need but the Expertise Database identifies a colleague in a different department who has the necessary experience and expertise to run a bespoke session. Contact is made through the Expertise Database and the necessary training arranged and tracked.

Reports show how many requests each expert is receiving
Experts can manage their own profile (subject to Quality Assurance) as they increase their areas of expertise
